[ sookie doesn't have the luxury of staying in today. or maybe she does, but she feels too much of an obligation towards sam to skip her shifts at merlotte's because of a couple of kissing bots. she doesn't like the idea, but she doesn't want sam to be stuck without any waitresses and have to rely strictly on the regular bots to help him out if the other girls decide to be no shows today. so, she'll be there most of the day, taking your orders, cleaning off tables, and being caught by those damned bots. ]

[Rogue didn't make it to her shift at Merlotte's without incident, but it's been nothing bad enough to deter her from work. Besides, she figures hiding in the kitchen at Merlotte's is just about as safe as hiding in her apartment. There's a lull in work and the dishes are all done, the kitchen is scrubbed up. She peeks out the kitchen door then slips out to get a soda from the bar. She smiles a bit at Sookie.]

Crazy sorta day, ain't it?

[ she will never not be amused by the fact that rogue works here, too. she wonders if people get confused seeing the same face and different hair on a daily basis, even if rogue is a touch younger than she is. it's still odd to be looking at her own face and not be staring at a mirror. ]
