My lir appears to have gone exploring. If anyone runs across a black mountain cat in the castle or nearby surrounds, please don't worry, she's not dangerous.

She is a very large cat, but she's friendly enough.

Well, if you don't meet her while she's out and about today, I'll make sure to introduce you to her when she comes back.

I would like that. I wish Lord Tubbington was here, he's like a giant moose. I like to put him in t-shirts and feed him fondue.

Mountain cat? I assume by 'not dangerous' that includes not dangerous to other pets?

A large feline about the size of a wolf, although she's going to get a little bigger by the time she's fully-grown.

She knows not to hunt in the castle.

So long as my cat is safe, I'm okay with whatever size. I'd hex her if she went after me.

She's intelligent enough to know that pets are off-limits. And carnivores don't tend to be very good food anyway, so it's unlikely she would hunt even a wild cat unless she was very hungry.

And what is your cat's name?

My grandsire's lir certainly thinks the same way.

She can be comforting at times, although she can be incredibly frustrating at other times, depending on her mood. She is rather more mercurial than other lir I've met.

Cats make me go all sneezy, sir, and then I can't breathe. If I see your cat and ask her to go away, will she do that?

Yes, she will. Although she's been around people with allergies before, and they've been all right. Still, to be safe I'll ask her not to bother you.

Thank you, sir. Could you ask her to stay away from Eames as well? He's grown-up me, and he has the same allergies as me.

She won't harm any creatures in the castle or the nearby surrounds. When she wishes to hunt, she goes deeper into the forest. Your marten is safe.

He would object to being labelled a pet. He's my companion. His name is Gwin and his attitude is far larger than his stature.
