With so many people seeming to leave suddenly, I've been thinking that there might be some of us remaining who could use a little peace.

To which end, I'm arranging for some space at the community centre if anyone wants to get together for prayer. Or just to talk. I know I'm not the spiritual leader for...anyone here, really (Sister Zari, you're an obvious exception and I'd be thrilled if you thought of me as your Imam), but I thought I'd offer myself up regardless.

I don't think our beliefs are all that different.

That's very kind of you to offer the space and a chance for people to find some peace. These are very strange times.

For the record, I do think of you as my Imam.
