Even though Elena wasn't here, Kate was not going to miss the opportunity to celebrate two Thanksgivings. Besides, after all the recent drama, they needed something that would bring them together. Food was a great way to do that. She even managed to convince Jeremy that they should open their feast to all of their friends.

Clay was deep frying turkeys in the back yard and there was a table laden with several varieties of potatoes, stuffing, vegetables, and cranberry sauce. Dozens of pies were lining the window sills in the kitchen cooling off.

Anyone who showed up would not leave hungry.

	"All good times, followed closely by Christmas. The end of the year is a great time." she grinned. Mercy was just happy everyone seemed to be taking her in stride better. It felt good. "Is there anything you'd like for your birthday? Well, rephrase, anything you'd like I could get you?" she smiled "I spoil my friends and family" by way of explanation.
