Giving offerings to vagrant dead.

I'm not sure I hold with that. It only encourages them not to move on, say true.

	Nay, that's not our custom. There are words that might be said over the dead, proper rites - but such things are seen to when you bury a fellow, not every year thereafter! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I read all about it on the Wikipedia, Georgia. It's what Halloween's for. It's a symbol because folk need symbols, but that's not near all it is. The vagrant dead are real enough and they'll not care if you don't believe in them, they'll take the offerings all the same,

Nobody rightly wants to die, but we're all going to, and when we do the order of things is that we move on and if we're fortunate we find peace. Mayhap those with issues get stuck. Those as won't accept that they've died. It's proper tragic.
