Did Finstock want to be volunteering for this? No, no he did not. But was he? Yes. Yes he was. Because Penny was doing the teen one and he was most definitely keeping an eye on her even though he didn't care and - "Yeah, yeah!" He rang the bell after the third complaint about 'starting it'. "Round one or whatever."

	Vaggie didn't particularly want to be here, but since her friend and girlfriend both signed up for speed dating, she sucked it up and put on her big girl pants. Alastor hadn't planned on signing up for speed dating. He had no interest in dating whatsoever, speed or normal speed. But Charlie decided to sign him up, if only to make some friends. Which he had no interest in doing either. Alastor didn't do friends. Charlie and Vaggie were enough for him.

Ugh, did he just consider them friends? Must've been a slip up.

But he decided to go to speed dating anyway because he was that bored. So he sat and waited, glancing up when he heard the familiar voice of Vaggie. "Yes, your lovely girlfriend decided to sign me up, as I'm sure you already know." Despite his smile, Alastor was anything but happy right now. He always wore a smile.

Vaggie would tease Alastor if he used the term friends, but she knew he really did consider both her and Vaggie as friends.

"Yeah, I figured if she signed up both you and herself, I should just sign up too. Though I do think you and I would have had more fun watching horror films and eating snacks." Or anything else.

"Just remember, you can drink as much as you want."

	"I'd have more fun doing one of Charlie's bonding exercises." Which is to say that this was absolute torture as he always did his best to not participate in said bonding exercises. Vaggie couldn't help herself and cracked up. Oh God. "Time for some trust falls," she joked. Vaggie adored her girlfriend, but some of her enthusiasm could be...a lot. No, Alastor was not a fan.

"I plan on being obnoxiously drunk by the end of this," she assured her friend. Vaggie spotted Charlie and noticed her date's expression.

"You and he could bond over how much you're loathing this?"

"How do those usually go anyway?" Anytime Charlie suggested doing trust falls or some other bonding exercise, Alastor always came up with an excuse that he couldn't participate. He supposed he could simply stay and watch, but then he'd risk Charlie making him join in.

"You do that, my dear." He had no problems getting drunk, but he didn't care for getting obnoxious about it. He followed Vaggie's gaze. "He does look quite done with her," he said, amused.

	Vaggie shrugged. “How you would imply when Angel and Charlie are involved.” She missed Angel and that he put ip with Charlie’s ideas at times.
