You know I never was one to celebrate Christmas in July, but I think watching the Grinch should be an all year thing.

The Grinch? That's a funny name for a movie.

It is, but it's also based on a children's book where I come from.

Can't say I've ever heard of it.

My mom read it to me when I was little, so I kind of got hooked.

It's not one of the stories my mother read to me. So either I died before it was published or it didn't exist in my world.

Interesting. I am sorry to hear that you never read it.

The important question is: Live action or original animated film?

I actually watched both...kind of a movie marathon.

Same, because I can't just choose between them. I do like the storyline they put on the live action one.

I did too! I thought it added more context.

And it was definitely a switch up from all of the other Christmas movies.

It was such a refreshing take that didn't stomp on the original.

I could get behind that.

Right?! It's just one of the best holiday movies out there.

Never a bad time to watch the Grinch.

I don't think I've ever actually seen that movie. Maybe when I was really little.

You should watch the newer adaptations. They are actually really good!

It's a good movie. Especially if it's the older cartoon version.

The older cartoon version certainly is a classic!

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman are two more good classics. Right up there with the Grinch.
