Who: Thorin Oakenshield & Kili
Where: Homebrew
When: Wednesday Evening
What: Dinner with his Kin
Status: Ongoing & Closed
Warnings: TBD
Thorin had wanted to branch out some more now that he was more settled, but he also knew that he hadn't spent nearly enough time with his kin. So, he decided to handle that first, which was why he had chosen to invite Kili out for dinner. It had seemed like the best first step, and hopefully it would be something that the two of them could build on. Once Kili had accepted the invitation, Thorin went right to work on the preparations. He could have invited Kili over to the house, but he had wanted to do something special for this particular evening. So, going out to eat had seemed like a nice choice and a place they would both be comfortable had seemed like the perfect answer. So, he made suggested Homebrew, because it was a place that he had already enjoyed dining in. Once he had finished his shift at work, he made his way home to get ready. He had made sure to leave himself from time when arranging their meeting time, because he didn't want to have to go straight from work. Once he had showered and changed into more appropriate attire, he made sure to leave a note for Bilbo reminding him of where he would be for the evening. The last thing he wanted to do was worry Bilbo, so this seemed like the safest bet. Now that he was sure everything was handled, he put everything in need in his pockets and made his way out the door. This was a path that he had tread many times, so it didn't take him long at all to find his way to his destination. He had made sure to arrive a little early, so that he could be sure to secure them a table. He made sure to choose the seat facing the door, so that he would be able to see when Kili arrived and then he ordered himself a drink while he waited. After all, dwarfs were known for holding their ale. So, he wasn't worried about overdrinking. |
