Sean wasn't entirely sure what was going on, but he knew that he didn't like it. As if life wasn't bad enough back home, now he was in this place with his family life completely upended. Then again, that wasn't entirely bad. Most of his family probably wouldn't react kindly to something he'd only just figured out about himself -- he stood the best odds with his father, and possibly his Uncle Josef.
But it was only his father here, his father and a couple siblings he didn't actually have. That was kind of weird and he didn't know what to think of it. The kids were cute, but beyond that? It was awkward being around them.
Which was probably why he was still staying in the apartment he'd woken up in, though minus the little kid that he'd woken up with. That kid was kind of adorable, honestly, and Sean had made it very clear to the guy who'd picked up both Alex and the tiny girl whose name was Maria that he was perfectly fine keeping an eye on the kids. The other guy, Michael, hadn't gone for it. Sean kind of understood that, but he also wasn't sure he actually liked Michael or not.
He'd been wrapped up in his own head entirely too much the past couple days. In an effort to change that, he'd gone for a walk with no real idea of where he was going. As a result, he'd wound up by the river. That was okay, though, it was... oddly peaceful. He could use some of that.
