Out Of This World

After having a bit of a talk about it, we've added this to the rules:

» HIATUSI

All hiatusi (yes, a word now) will be taken care of very simply. We will use the aliens for this. So if you need to be away for a significant period of time (more than just a couple of days), let us know. The aliens will take your characters back to the ship for a little bit. While they're there, they'll be missing planetside, but they won't have any knowledge of the time they've been away. They can come back, and it can all be played out.

ON THIS NOTE! If you need to have one of your characters stay quiet for a while, for whatever reason, let us know, and we can say that the aliens have kept them for study or what have you. Please don't do this every time a planet switches, or every other week. And you must always tell us that you're going this route before taking it, or we'll begin to count it against the activity of the character(s) you've decided to leave on-ship.
