Summary: Facets of a relationship of necessity. Too little is given and too much is wanted, but Lupin and Snape don't have the luxury of new beginnings. Post-OotP
Reason: This story sells me in a way pure romance is usually lacking.  Not to say I don't love even some of the gooiest fics out there - but something about the stark, raw quality of "Thirteen Ways" draws me to it like few others.  It's painful in parts, wrenching, and is made all the more beautiful for it.

Reason:  I'm an utter pervert, and combined with the talent for humor that this author possesses?  I'm there.  This fic is comical, it's kinky, it's fun without being bizarre or cheesy - a perfect pick-me-up!

But mostly, I'm a pervert.

I've been tinkering with the Snape/Lupin wiki this morning, so I thought I'd update everyone on the changes. Before I get into that, however, I'd like to post a short list of some of our most commonly used resources.

Moonshadow - the primary RL/SS archive for both stories and art.

The Snupin Santa Fest archive - houses all stories and art from Snupin Santa 2005-2008.

snupin_prophet - a weekly newsletter that rounds up RL/SS related material from Livejournal, Insanejournal, and several different archives. The newsletter is mirrored on both LJ and IJ.

snupin100 - a RL/SS drabble community featuring weekly challenges.

The Snupin Library - a link list of stories selected by the members of this community as classics or good "starter stories" for newbies to the ship.


On the wiki, you can find all of the community projects, such as Chocolate & Asphodel vol 1 and the fan art calendars here.

There's a list of websites/archives, LJ/IJ communities, forums, and mailing lists related to RL/SS here.

There's a page of master lists from various fests and challenges held on lupin_snape between 2005-2009, arranged alphabetically and by year. This is one of the pages I worked on today, so it's now up to date.

There's a lot more information available on the wiki, so feel free to look around! New shippers will be able to immerse themselves in lots of Snape/Lupin-y goodness, and even old hands on the ship may find something new.
