Your coloring is lovely. I'm very fond of 36. I love the background. I'm impressed by your lightening of the opening scenes because the one I lightened drove me crazy.

I love the texture/pattern that you used 42,47, 56, and 57. The checkered diamond.

The one I lightened was the scene with Baby Harry/DD but mine looks different. :-D

I love the text on 76. The radial blur? applied to number 80.

I love 83-85. I love the close up shot of Vernon.

I have an easy file name build up for icontests: the shortening of the icontest (emma), the challenge/round-challenge (24 - Round 2, Challenge 4 I guess) and counting the icons I made :D

Thanks :D I very nearly submitted #18. I couldn't really decide and ended up thinking the text was too risky :D

Movie 1:
One day I'll have to make a tutorial for #36. I surprised myself with the result :D

Although I do have some textures for the effect, I figured out how to recreate it quicker than I could pick a texture :D
If I remember it correctly (it's past 1am and I'm slightly tipsy from the small round celebrating my new flat mate's 19th bday) I first make the entire layer black, use the "Difference Clouds" filter (with foreground colour white and background black) followed by "Halftone Pattern" with the size set to the minimum (1 I think) (translations of filters courtesy of this page)

I just knew I had to use that text. Really bold. And yes, I think I did a radial blur on #80 (possibly followed by a slight Gaussian blur as the radial blur occasionally seems a bit pixelated in my eyes)

I think Vernon is actually brilliant :D I've had fun iconing him :D

I've loved the two tutorials I've followed of yours so far.

Yay for tipsiness! I discovered the halftone pattern in one of your tutorials after I posted this. I didn't think about using the difference cloud filter. I'll have to play with it tomorrow.

I've been using them like crazy.

Now to just finish the last sets of icons before the 20th. :-D
