It took Aurora the good part of three days of tearing apart her house to find any and all information that may help her to understand where she was or why she wasn't back at the Enchanted Forest. There were documents naming her as the owner of the cute place she was to call home. There were magical objects that seemed like glorified paper weights. However, there were also some of Aurora's personal items amongst the new items. Dresses, jewelry, her favorite hand mirror and hair combs and even a jewelry box that her father had crafted for her when she was a little girl. Seeing those things certainly made things easier and harder all at once. Was she deliberately put in this place by people she formerly thought she could trust?
Once she got up the courage to touch the devices that she ended up using to communicate with others in the town, Aurora felt a bit more connected to the entire experience. She'd stuck her head out of her house a few times to get a feel for the atmosphere and she'd watched people pass by on the street in front of her house wearing garb that she'd never seen. Women wearing pants? She'd only ever worn pants during her horse riding lessons and even then it was against her mother's wishes.
Claire, the woman she had 'met' moments ago, seemed nice enough. Aurora was wary of strangers most of the time - given all that she had been through. But what was there to lose? She couldn't keep herself locked away forever. She'd spent enough time sleeping her life away, as it were. She'd lost her one true love and she was not about to give up on everything.
As Aurora communicated throughout the afternoon on the device Neal had called a 'mobile phone', she patiently awaited the arrival of Claire.
