Once again Claire felt a surge of guilt, since she'd put up such a fuss upon first arriving here. Again the realization hit her, that she'd just been bumped a little out of her comfort zone. Sure, she was stuck in a new town, but at least she still had things she was familiar with. She hadn't been dropped into a completely strange world like some of the others, Aurora included. It made her feel kind of good that she could help others who weren't so comfortable get acclimated to life here.
She found the address Aurora had given easily enough, so she pulled her van in front, then marched up the walk. The houses seemed mostly the same, as far as she could tell. On some streets they were bigger, but it all seemed pretty cookie-cutter to her.
Reaching the front door, Claire found the doorbell and gave it a ring.
