I will tell you now and I won't say it again
Who: Circe and Lumi
Where: UofM hospital
When: Early afternoon
Circe's attending had given her a call to have her come in today. And she was ready to go back to work. While the little break had been necessary for her to digest, she was feeling better now and wouldn't have the urge until she moulted again. Unless, of course, someone threw a baby her way. It was like her attending knew she was...well, he knew she was a lamia. He could have probably put two and two together. She'd have to speak to him before she left and let him know the infanticide was not her fault or her idea. She didn't get caught. It was a good thing lamiae were not being investigated or she'd have put it upon herself to end the life of said lamia.
Nevertheless, her attending had placed her in the lab today, far away from nurses and their stations. And their damnable message boards. Circe was content in the lab, even if it was a little cold from the blood bank freezers. She liked working here and while there had been no special patients sent her way today, she was completely fine. If Ulysses wanted her, she was right there and he wouldn't have to worry about finding her. Switching out samples, she made a few notes in her notebook before carrying the sample set back to the freezer.
