I want to gouge out your eyes
Who: Elizaveta & Katrina
Where: The streets
When: Around midnight
Hearing details from family members was one thing, but seeing the situation for yourself was something else entirely. It wasn't that Elizaveta did not trust Liliya or Eric to give her an adequate idea of what was going on; it was merely a preference. She liked to be able to say that, at some point, she had stood in the thick of it, as it were, and had seen everything for herself. After a power-nap, as they were called, and a quick change of clothes, she had headed out and left her dolls to sleep.
Well-fed and thoroughly abusing her family's ability to imitate life, she had already confused one police officer who had been kind enough to suggest that she stay inside tonight. Elizaveta had merely smiled broadly, enough to assure him that while the sentiment was appreciated, it was not necessary. Admittedly, the speed at which he left her alone was a touch disappointing, if not understandable. Vampires had clearly had too much of an impact here, and not in the way the Cyri ever intended. She wasn't amused.
A few hours into her patrol, several humans had been told to go home, one had his baseball bat confiscated on the grounds that it just made him look like a thug and really wouldn't help him, and one drunken fight had been split up. She wasn't doing this again.
Stopping, she leaned with her back against the wall of someone's home, absent-mindedly rotating her rings. This was tedious.
