Shimmer: Now Welcoming All Kinds of Queer!
Who: Hamish, OTA!
Where: Shimmer
When: 8pm, just after the ribbon cut and door openings.
Warning: Now getting into the NSFW
Hamish smiled as he turned around one of the gold stripper poles that dotted his night club. taking the shot in his hand as his waist-length long red hair fanned out around his glittering royal purple suit. The dramatic navy blue lapel and collar were topped by a loose and displaced back bowtie, which offset the shirt under the jacket that was a lighter blue, the V neck going low but remaining decent. Ruffles hid his wrists and he'd pulled back the front hair into a half ponytail, three long purple and black feathers adorning a gemmed hair clip on one side of his head. Overall he felt great, and a little tipsy, and was fueled to get beyond his exhaustion from party planning all night by the rush of adrenaline that an influx of dancers in his club created.
The lights and music were neither deafening nor overwhelming, even as they changed in color along the walls to match the mood and tempo of the music. Instead it was the atmosphere one usually chose to loose themselves in, even if the bar with the backlit bottles of booze was now crowded with people, some buying, some taking advantage of the offer to fess up publicly about your race for a free drink. Sure that he wasn't the bartending type on a busy day the owner let the bartenders handle the customers, stead smiling as some of the paid dancers, now with a couple females mixed in for the supernaturals who were straight. And, he admitted, he should have brought in more for the lesbians prior to this. They wanted nothing to do with him (except to pet his hair sometimes) and he wasn't turned on by them (unless they were petting his hair), but it was his job to look after all of his cliental. He'd resolved to change that with this new setup.
He searched the crowd for friends, lovers, regulars, and new people, eager to be a good host and to see whether or not Madison would come, not to mention a few other faces. Tonight was a night about fun, about unity. Even the tragic events of the day and previous night weren't going to dampen the host's spirits or stop this party from going down.
