Who: Theodore Nettle and Skylar Tallis
Where: Skylar's house and then the beyond.
When: June 10th / 2009 - 5:30pm
Theodore was tired of hearing his mother talk about all the old clients she'd run in to over the weekend. And the fans. And all the things that she used to do with her old clients, and what her fans wished she'd do to them. He knew his mom was considered to be a 'hot mom' or at least, that's what he was told over and over during the course of the weekend when his mother had introduced him to several of the people she ran in to. Of course some of them were famous stars, at least, they had been back in the day on TV shows Theodore had never heard of, let alone saw. He'd just smiled and nodded a lot, wishing for once, he was a girl and had long hair, so he could put in a pair of ear buds, turning up the music and not have to hear the things they were saying.
Vegas, so not somewhere he'd be going back any time soon. The heat if anything, was bad enough.
So when he noticed that his phone that had admittedly been ignored for his Nintendo DS, was flashing, indicating he had a message of some sort, he picked it up wondering who had something to say to him. Skylar. Ahh good old Skylar. She had been a long time friend of his family, her aunt was an avid customer of his mothers... in that she bought Avon things off his mother not....he shuddered inwardly. He didn't want to think about that, not at all. He answered her and soon he was texting back and forth on the highway, coming up to their hometown. When he asked if she wanted to go for dinner, it was driven by two things, the first, was because it'd be cool to hang out with the girl, she didn't have a ton in common with Theodore but they'd always been friendly, the second, because he couldn't stand his parents cooing at each other much longer without needing a barf bag.
So instead of heading home, they dropped their son off at Skylar's house and Theodore sent one last text from outside the girl's house, urging her to let him on in.
