Tell me it's nothing, try to convince me that I'm not drowning
Who: Halne, Vivianna & Luke
Where: Halne & Vivianna's apartment
When: early morning, a few hours short of the sunrise
Warnings: Violence
Halne had done everything in her power to stay away from the apartment the last couple of days. No, there was no amount of angelic blood in the world that would tempt her to want to run into her newly redheaded childe. There were a lot of reasons for that, and she was sure that Vivianna may well have been feeling the same way. After all, hadn't she brought someone home to the apartment? A fact that still set the older vampire's teeth on edge. As if Vivianna could just parade around her conquest in her home. No, Halne would not tolerate that any more. Turning her key in the lock on the door, Halne stepped through, the rain that clung to her drenched clothing beginning to drip onto the carpet. Shutting the door and locking it again, the Gabriel took two steps into the apartment before the scent hit her. Vivianna was here, and so was someone else. In fact, the scent was the exact same one that Halne had picked up from a few days ago. In the space it would have taken a normal human to breathe in and out, Halne had moved all the way into the apartment and was standing stock-still in front of Vivianna's room. The door was closed, but the scent was definitely coming from her room. The scent was so fresh, Halne could practically hear the tendons in her hands protest as she clenched her fists. Was it a little hypocritical for her to feel possessive when she herself had spent time with Athena? Reason and logic was fighting against the tide of anger that was surging into the Gabriel's veins.
Was she ever going to just let it all go and give up this fight? No. Halne was still convinced that she was in the wrong for...what had happened between Vivianna and herself. I should have known better than to sleep with her. The memories crowded in on her every waking moment -- happy up until the point when she had realized again that she had let her desire win out over what was right. What was proper. Not again. She knew what her duty was, and it had everything to do with why she banged on Vivianna's door so loud, the hinges rattled. If she kept banging on it, she was very nearly going to skip to just punching the wood, and it wouldn't really do to let her anger take her over completely. She had to be able to think, but it was very difficult to do that when the unmistakable smell of a male and sex was wafting up from beneath Vivianna's door. Pausing in the crashing blows she was landing against the door with the side of her fist, Halne's voice called out in a tone she'd never heard before. Sheer and utter rage.
"Vivianna, if you do not open this door, I will break it down!" How had she slipped so effortlessly into French? The taste of the language was somewhat soothing on her tongue. It melded with the anger and made it sound strangely...beautiful.
