'cause a scene so ridiculous
Who: Antonin, Daisy and Joseph
Where: Anywhere But Here
When: Night
Warning: Threats of violence
So it was the full moon, big deal. Joseph had flicked the T.V. on at some point during the day only to find the news saying that people needed to be extra careful tonight and make sure to avoid wild animals. Was that not already common sense? People were supposed to avoid wild animals anyhow so that they did not get themselves torn to bloody little pieces left to litter the sidewalk. He would have been more than happy to follow that piece of advice if he did not have a wild animal - and he was never going to think of Bandit as anything else since that was exactly what he was - following him everywhere he went. Luckily tonight he had made a deal with the masked little bastard and left him either at home or in the backyard. It hardly mattered to him exactly where the raccoon was while he was out drinking so long as it did not end with either of them dead. Okay, he just did not want to die and since that seemed to have a direct tie-in to the raccoon... it meant he could not die either. So, that was set and he had gotten dressed and was ready to go out and find a bar to get good and wasted on someone else's money at. Thankfully that purse he had stolen a few days back had not been short on cash so he was going to be able to afford plenty enough drinks for him.
Oh, and for Daisy too since she had decided that she just had to come along. Joseph had only smiled and agreed. If she wanted to come along and put up with whatever the place he chose smelled like then that was up to her and those crutches she was still using. Was she dragging the injury out in hopes of getting misplaced sympathy? Joseph had to wonder who it would come from since he had never been the sort to coo and coddle someone who had gotten hurt. Once upon a time in a land far, far away where it was always cold and usually snowy... Thoughts that were shooed away the second they made an appearance; closed and locked away in a dark place that would never get a chance to breathe except for... no, that was not being thought of either! Joseph chuckled at himself as he looked around at the bar he had chosen based off the look outside. He hated 'classy' places even more than he hated clubs; he liked bars. Not always the cleanest but definitely the most interesting. Hence his choice here and it had only taken him a minute to slide up to the bar to order a beer for himself and a bourbon for Daisy. Holding both in his hands he turned, momentarily forgetting his companion as his eyes scanned the area to find a place that he wanted to sit. The bar would work, but the people kept changing, and he always preferred a table. Too bad they all looked to be taken. No, that one was actually full and he would rather break the bottle over his own head than sit with guys in truckers hats who would probably leer at Daisy the entire time. Lighting fire to a bar was a sure way of ending their little stay in Scarlet Oak sooner than he wanted, but practically nothing else would be appropriate if an entire group stared at what was his.
"Ah, there you are," he declared when Daisy found her way to him, completely ignoring that it might have been difficult for her to make her way through even an uncrowded bar when she was on crutches. He took a swig from his bottle and nodded at a table that had only one man sitting at it. Another blond, how fitting since that would make three of them, who had almost attractive features. It always amused him to see how men reacted to his smiles and it would be much easier to tell one how much his eyes needed to not be staring than a group. Besides, he had a table and Joseph wanted it. "We're sitting there." Still holding Daisy's drink, unconsciously and not out of any sense of politeness towards the added awkwardness that would be using crutches and carrying a drink, Joseph made his way to the table and pulled out a chair to drop into. "You a regular here?" he directed at the man, already grinning like he knew him. Of course he was completely unaware that Daisy had thrown up all over him a few days ago.
