Smoke on the water
Who: Aiden, Quinn and open, why not?
Where: The remnants of the Broadway Bridge
When: After 11:37am
Aiden did not even want to be here, he was only here because James, as owner of Ballard House, had to be here, and didn't want to do it alone. It was what he was grumbling to himself about before feeling the wind knocked out of him, feeling himself pushed, or pulled, or thrown - he couldn't quite choose one - and getting hit by a bunch of debris at the same time. When he finally landed somewhere, he had lost consciousness for at least a minute or two.
Finally coming to, Aiden discovered his eyes were burning, his forehead was wet and aching and he had a pile of...things on him. He also couldn't see much beyond smoke and fire, and more importantly, he couldn't see James. The first time he tried to shout his voice didn't come out, but a cough full of black smoke did. At least he felt warm, despite it all. Actually, too warm for when he wasn't playing with fire. Aiden glanced to his left to find his arm on fire. Well, that was new. He had never accidentally caught on fire before, not where the fire had not come from himself. Generally speaking things catching on fire wasn't good, especially not people, especially not coupled with panicked screams, and piles of debris on top of people, and wet aching foreheads. He could swear it was blood trickling down his brow, making him blink.
As Aiden sat up his breakfast - a full English, of course - threatened to come back out the way it had come in, and the world was twirling so much Aiden had to lie back down and close his eyes again for a little while. The second time around, he managed to sit up and withstand the feeling of sickness and the dizziness. And his voice was working now too. "James? JAMES! JAMES WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU JAMES?!" He had to scream louder and louder over someone screaming in pain, begging for help, but aiden couldn't see who it was or what they were screaming about and he didn't think he wanted to.
His arm still on fire, Aiden managed to get up, stumble a few steps and look around himself. It was chaos, full blown chaos and he was pretty sure people were dying right now. James could be dying right now, and he had no idea where. His tone became desperate. "JAMES! JAMES LEE! OH FOR FUCK'S SAKE!"
