Didja miss me? |

I know you all did. Well, those of you that knew me, anyway. Those of you that don't ... you don't know what you've been missing.
I'm Andrew Ryan. I was here for awhile, and then left for a bit. I, apparently, couldn't stay away too long though, because I'm back here. Why, I'm not exactly certain yet, but I'm sure I'll figure that out given some time to figure it out. I'm the sous chef on board.
And I believe there's a friend of mine that's still on board here. Where are you, you mangy motherfucker? Speak up. And please tell me the doctor's gone. |

Who: Carey & Andrew What: potentially making friends Where: The Duck & Dog When: Sunday, around 9pm
As much as he hated to admit it, Carey was starting to really miss Janis. At first, he had told himself he just missed the sex, but after nearly two weeks, he was still moping around, and he knew it was more than that. And of course, now that he was single, he was noticing couples everywhere he went. He had started avoiding Ira because he knew he had a girlfriend and would probably mention her.
And he found that he was extremely annoyed with public displays of affection among the guests, much like the one that was happening just inside the Duck & Dog when he walked in on Sunday night. He thought about "accidentally" knocking into the kissing couple and sending them both sailing across the room, but then changed his mind, instead slumping down on a barstool and ordering a beer. However, he couldn't resist turning to the person next to him - who happened to be Andrew Ryan, the chef de partie - gesturing over his shoulder and saying, "Should we take bets on how long it takes this asshole to suck her tonsils right out of her? I say a minute or less." |

Who: Amelia and Andrew Where: Casino bar When: evening
Amelia was excited to finally have someone to talk to. She chatted it up with a lot of the patrons of the ship and a few coworkers but had yet to sit down and relax. Andrew came off as an alright sort of fellow. Expressive to say the least and that was always a good thing in her book. If he turned out to be a total tool she’d have no problem telling him so and finding something else to do but she had a good feeling about tonight.
She wasn’t a girly girl or expecting anything out of tonight so she was wearing a pair of jeans and a black shirt with a blue star in the middle. She had no idea if the star stood for anything but it was a dollar at a second hand store and that sounded good to her. Even if she was expecting to get a random lay she really doubted that she’d dress up. It took a wedding or a funeral for her to get fancied up. The only thing she expected for tonight was to have a few beers with someone who seemed to be on the same page as her and hopefully get a few good laughs in.
Waiting at the bar she was going to wait to drink as well. The casino bar wasn’t the sort of bar that gave off the let’s chill vibe but she didn’t want to drink too far up. She heard that the lower you were in a ship the less of chance you had to get sea sick and she was still getting her sea legs. So far she hadn’t thrown up yet and didn’t want to take the risk of doing that now not with a new person. Amelia didn’t get embarrassed often but vomiting in front of people always seemed a little humiliating to her. |
