When Skye got bored, it never amounted to anything good. Well, then again, it depends on your definition of good, because some, herself included, found that causing or getting into trouble was a good thing. Fun, even. And this time, it ended up with her talking to Andrew because he seemed to be rather bored too. And Skye was always up for suggesting things to do, which he seemed more than willing to go with. That was definitely a plus in her book. It seemed to her like too many people that worked aboard the Serendipity Surprise were devoid of any adventure, something she thrived on, so it was refreshing to meet someone else who seemed to have that same mentality. She could still only count those people on one hand though, sadly. And she may have been flirting with him just a tad. Nothing wrong with that, right?
She changed out of the dress she had been wearing for work, with her roommate's help. She never understood why half the dresses she saw always required someone to help you zip and unzip the damn things. She'd be lost without a roommate. Call it the tomboy side of her, but she didn't think she ever would understand it. She changed into denim shorts and a wife beater (she usually had them around to sleep in), and exited her cabin to find the pool.
Once she got there, it was so late that it seemed like everyone had left to go elsewhere, and she didn't see a man in a wife beater, that was for sure. She stood at the edge of the pool, and as she waited, she idly pulled her black hair into a messy ponytail with the hairband she always kept around her wrist.
