Concrit meme - Take 10!
Attention please~

We're having a concrit meme again! The rules are the same as last time:

Comment to this post with a list of your characters.

Then reply ANONYMOUSLY to the other players, giving concrit on how they're playing/their characterization/their interactions/etc. Or ask them stuff, like why did chara A did this or say that or w/e.

Flame anyone, and I'll kill you in the face. I'm looking for something that can be positive to the game and can help us ALL improve. Not for someone to go 'OMG YOU SUCK' at someone else. Not that I expect that to happen, but I'm just making sure.

You can just praise a character, if you can't find anything wrong with what they do. If you can elaborate on WHY you like that character, it'd be better, but hey, I won't mind if you can't do anything but keyboard smash at someone's awesome.

This is semi-mandatory! If you really, really can't take concrit, then go ahead and don't participate, but I'd rather everyone did.

I love the way you play all of your characters. All the versions of Syaoran still manage to have a distinct voice, which is something I'd think it pretty hard to do. Your Mokona is absolutely phenomenal, especially when interacting with Aly's Mokona. You've addressed that you need to do more with Fujimoto and Rikuou, and I hope you do... I forgot you even HAD them until you mentioned it here. :(

I adore your Sakura, she is so cute and wonderful. I-if it didn't ruin two of my most favourite OTPs in the history of CLAMP and these things tend to be more fun as platonic, I would totally ship her with little Kuro. As it is, they are the best BFF team ever. I love your Fay too and Doumeki is great. He's so Doumeki that I'm amazed Watanuki hasn't exploded yet. *gives thumbs up*

This isn't crit or anything, but can I ask why you play 3 Syaorans? It's good, obviously, but why? *cuddles C!Syao*

You're doing great with both of them! They seem perfectly IC to me, and I like that they're different and recognizable from the other versions of themselves, as well.

You're doing great with both characters! I'm glad you decided to pick Fay back up. You've improved so much with him since you first started playing him, and it shows. I think Sakura's wonderful so far too. I think my only real crit is I'd like to see Fay interacting with more people, especially the other characters from his canon that aren't close to his timeline. Unless I've just missed that he's been doing it a lot, in which case you can disregard anon's ignorance. o/

Fay is great, I can't think of anything to improve on (other than interacting more, but you just recently came back from muse troubles and a hiatus, so it's understandable.)

As for Sakura... there are times when she seems a bit off. I think that sometimes you make her far too meek. For instance, don't make her stutter so much. She's a confident, vibrant girl, and she can handle herself. The only times where I can justifiably see her using a stutter would be in awkward romantic situations with Syaoran.

Other than that, I think she's great.

i haven't seen enough of your Sakura to give crit, but as for Fai, it sometimes feels as if his teasing towards Kurogane is kind of more malicious than it is playful. Like, there are times when Fai laughs at Kuro over something Kuro is insecure about, and i feel like that's kind of even rude for Fai. (Most recent example i can think of is after they had sex for the first time and Kuro's kind of weirded out and Fai just teases him over it instead of being concerned and understanding, which i feel he would be. He'd tease Kuro after Kuro'd gotten more comfortable, i think.)

Which leads to another, tiny nitpick. i love that Fai tops and that you don't make him into a weepy uke, but this is something I've seen with your Kuro, and with the old Kuro you used to have, where you basically refuse to let Fai bottom. And he refuses to let Kuro have any assertive role in bed, it seems. As soon as Kuro starts topping, Fai's quick to make him submit again.

They've always seemed like equals to me, so for Fai to behave that way seems kind of cruel. I think that if Kuro wanted to take the active role in bed every once and a while, Fai wouldn't be a total ass and refuse to let him. (And he can always top from the bottom, rofl.) They trust and resepct one another, so it'd make sense for them to switch between the two, not stick to one straight sexual role. It's cool that you're combating the fandom assumption that fai is the uke, but you're just as bad when you limit kuro to being the uke, too.

Other than that, though, i really love Fai's interactions with the children and Mokona. It'd be great to see him talking more with people outside his canon (like with wata, hima, and dou). i think he'd get along great with Presea and Mong Ryong, somehow. Or any of the girls in kiseki really.

i'm really glad you picked him back up. <3

I know that my characterization has been... kind of lame lately. I've been having some trouble with my characters, and I'm pretty sure it shows. I worry that all my characters are just being two-dimensional and lame. So I know I'll work on that, especially with Sakura and Himawari.

All my characters I worry have just been kind of lame, lately, so any suggestions and crit you could give me would be really, really helpful. I promise that I'll definitely do better in the future. Thanks, everyone. ♥
