text ( open to all )
[ The handwriting is slanted, practiced, fluid and feminine. She does not write much, but she has been taught well. ]

My name is Lady Morgana, ward of King Uther Pendragon of Camelot.

I'm afraid I don't quite understand how I came to be here. The maids who were sent to welcome me were very entertaining, but they seemed unwilling or perhaps unable to answer many of my questions. I fear that something dreadful may have happened - the last thing I remember is going to bed in the palace as normal. Was I taken ill?

The maids could not tell me where Guinevere might be, my own maid; or even Prince Arthur or the King himself. If I am truly able to speak to another by writing in this book, then I hope somebody will answer.

[ Something is written and scratched out, then written again. ]

Is this magic?

[ The name is unfamiliar, and she's unsure if that is somehow the name of... the book, itself? A spirit or being of some kind, within the pages? She was told that she could speak to others this way, but the reality of it is a little daunting. ]

An honour to meet you, my lord.

[ She's guessing. The name rings neither masculine nor feminine to her. ]

Would you know where I might find Arthur?

[Spirit kind of hits the nail, since he's someone who died and was given a new name by a God to serve him.

When she calls him 'my lord' he takes a little bit to answer. That... had a nice ring to it. No wonder why Yato loved whenever someone treated him like that. But okay, he has to get back on track, the woman asked a question.]

No idea. But he's probably with Merlin somewhere.

[ Small wonder. Morgana can't help but smile a little at that. ]

He generally is.

Do you know him? I'd like to get a message to him, should I not be able to find him.

Sometimes I wonder if they are stitched together or something.

[He shrugs, not that she can see him, but he still does it.]

You can use this book to write to him. But he'll probably talk to you first, once he knows you're here..

I hardly think they would notice if they were.

[ She and Gwen are not much different, but they have known one another most of their lives. It's amusing to have watched Merlin come to Arthur's side and stick so fast. ]

This can be used to write to a specific person? That is certainly useful.

[It's because of the whole two sides of the same coin, most likely.]

And you can use it to see others too. Like...

[He thinks for a moment. How does he explain video to someone that is definitely from a time long before electricity was a thing.]

Like a picture of someone else. I could show you if you promise not to burn the book or something like that.
