	Gorgon? It... didn't seem relevant. We don't know the extent of his telepathic abilities. The only things we've been able to confirm for sure is that he is able to use it as a means of seeing during combat situations so he doesn't have to rely on his eyes. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Hill didn't trust me. She didn't believe in the mission, she told us as much. But she still sent me in. And I wanted to do it. I did. I mean, we were a good team. I trusted you, even when I didn't trust SHIELD. But Hill used me and she didn't care what happened to me. And it wasn't just her. We saw enough shit at SHIELD to know that was the rule, not the exception.

And then I took that hit for Gorgon. And he talked about loyalty and all kinds of bullshit that made so much sense at the time.

It doesn't change what I did. He skewed my loyalty. He didn't make me do terrible things. That was me. I'm not apologizing or asking for forgiveness. I don't deserve it and I'm not sure I want it.

Maria didn't trust anyone. She told me as much after you... Never trust anyone. Trust gets you killed. She wanted me to use it as a lesson, take it to heart. Didn't really work. As you'd probably already guessed, considering.

We all did our fair share of terrible shit, Grant. I just did mine for SHIELD.

I should tell you about the time I injected Clint with mind altering nanoprobes so Nick could shoot him and not have him remember it.

	I've always been a softy. What can I say? I've had my fair share of excessive faith in people I shouldn't have. I know. I never doubted that you were sincere about that.
