who: Barry Allen, Leonard Snart & Rip Hunter

when: 4/4/16
warning: At least some brief making out in the beginning.
status: In progress.
It was a long standing debate, fought between generations, friends and enemies alike. Or in some cases between superheroes and gradually reforming villains. But regardless of every debate, there was still no universally agreed upon order in which to marathon each Star Wars movie. With the exception, maybe, of Episode VII, being the baby of the bunch and therefore the best contender for last. (Or first, for the impatient new DVD or Blu-Ray Owner).
Now Len was old fashioned in some ways (not that he'd readily admit to it) so his stance was fairly straight forward. Episodes IV, V, and then VI and then the prequels. Top it off with Episode VII, something shiny and new. Now Barry on the other hand had a difference of opinion. Not at all linear. They'd started back and forth but at some point he'd just left him to his rant. Watching the speedster get more and more animated about his argument was so much more entertaining than laying the foundation for his own preference. Even if he was totally right.
It was in the way Barry could get so impassioned about every little thing. A kind of brilliance in those green eyes and more than a few animated hand gestures. He was practically vibrating. Literally, maybe for a second here. And honestly, at some point Len had lost track of what he was saying and mostly started to focus on the way Barry's adam's apple was shifting while he spoke. Up and down and apparently one of his new favorite features.
There were two ways to win an argument. Through valid points and healthy debate. May the best man win kind of style. And then there was playing dirty. His favorite option. He vaguely registered Barry making some insistent point about why Episode VI absolutely had to come last as he closed in and set his lips to work on the side of the younger man's neck with a certain kind of purpose. Devilish attention, to be sure. But he knew no better kind.
"Don't let me stop you," Len was practically purring against his neck as he dropped his arm from the couch to his shoulders to reel him in just a little closer.
"Please, keep making your point Scarlet."
