I awoke, suddenly finding myself in a strange place, and lo and behold, this scroll had been placed beside me, awash with power, and, forsooth I cast Identify. It was henceforth revealed to be a wondrous magic item, a Scroll of Networking! What working with nets has to do with communication, I know not, but apparently it will let me speak with anyone else holding a similar scroll, no matter the distance!
I mean, it's a wondrous item, so how many of them there are I don't know, but it's really really neat! I mean. Ahem. Its rarity knows no bounds, and... and... yeah, I'm losing that one.
Anyway! Yes. I am Callyn, of the Ashtanic City Guard. I was lately travelling with my dear companions. If anyone sees a few elves or a half-orc or a bugbear, I beg you, please tell me! Oh, the bugbear may be under a spell of Disguise Self, so if you see a human, just poke about a foot to one side of him, and if you feel a nice, muscular, furry arm, that's him.
