Who: Verity and Oliver, and all of their guests. (If you think that means you, it probably does!)
When: Saturday, December 11th
Where: The church, then the Reception Hall
What: Wedding and Reception!
Note: There's going to be a DE Memory Terror attack in this post, so check it out!
The ceremony went off without a hitch. Oliver standing on his side with his Groomsmen, and Verity on hers with her Bridesmaids. Everyone who was anyone was there, only there wasn't the single flash of a camera, except for the man that Oliver and Verity hired to be their photographer. There were white poinsettias all over the building, in Verity's hair, in her bouquet, in the bridesmaids' bouquets, all of the boutenierres and coursages, and huge flower arrangements all along either side of the building. Most of the flowers were charmed to sparkle with silver glitter. Verity's dress was floor length, cream colored, and absolutely stunning. The bridesmaids were all in gold and silver, the groomsmen in their black dress robes adorned with gold and silver highlights.
When Oliver and Verity kissed for the first time as man and wife, an enchanted, sparkling snow started to fall over the whole church. There was a standing ovation as Mr. and Mrs. Wood headed down the aisle and out of the church, followed by their Wedding party. They stayed after the ceremony to take more pictures while the guests were invited back to the Reception Hall for drinks.
Celestina Warbeck and Margaret Wood were sitting side by side in the front row, both sobbing their eyes out the whole time.
At the Reception, the decorations were much like those at the ceremony, only there were long tables filled with food, round tables surrounded with chairs, a live band playing beautiful music, and waiters and waitresses wandering around with snacks and drinks on trays. It only took the Wedding Party a half hour to catch up with the guests. They were announced by the emcee, and entered the party to a world of applause.
