ATTENTION!
This morning at 7am, all Vol Squad members got urgent messages letting them know that they needed to report to a designated warehouse by 7:30am. The messages were accompanied with an annoying alarm that continued to sound until the person acknowledged that they'd seen the message. All Squad members are off of campus and outside of the force field by 8am, with the exception of Donovan, who is protesting recent IVF action and has thus been removed from the Squad.
The team will be rushed to transport and flown to Melbourne, though their directive won't be explained until they're on the plane. Once in the air they'll be informed that they're being sent on an inner city cleanup project, working to fix up one of Melbourne's more downtrodden neighborhoods.
Suspicious? Of course it is! The whole mission is a cover for the Covert Ops team, who are being separately deployed in the hopes of heading off the Vols Rising plot that Rose and Lilja helped uncover.
Unfortunately (as as you are all well-aware) the VR has also been tipped off, and they fast-forwarded their plans to today in hopes of beating the IVF to the proverbial punch. This will result in the Covert Ops team getting pulled away to investigate reports of suspicious activity at La Trobe University. Shortly after their arrival, unknown chemicals are released into several large lecture halls and classrooms, sending the university into emergency lock-down.
A resulting confrontation will mean that the rest of the Squad is immediately summoned for backup, the results of which will become more apparent this afternoon as logs are posted.
For now, please be aware that the Squad has left campus. All journal entries and texts posted between now and approximately 3pm EST will be assumed to have occurred during the time after the Squad has left, but before Crazy Shit Goes Down in Melbourne. After 6pm EST, people on the Squad may feel free to begin reacting/sharing news with the folks back at IVI.
Assume that the Squad will return back to campus late Thursday evening, with some of them being sent straight to the hospital wing for medical attention.
