Introduction to Fandom Muses

Introductions are pretty pointless. Most of us lie in them, and if we don't we probably should. I'm not really a people person. I used to be shy, and now I'm just easily annoyed. I used to be kind of innocent, and now I see the world in all it's ugly glory. We live in a world where little girls with superpowers are sent to fight other peoples battles. We die young. No one grieves us. We're expendable. Whatever.

I'm currently working for a guy who has more money than God, and will one day rule the world. Roll your eyes if you want, but it doesn't make a difference. I've aligned myself with the winning team, because losing really sucks. Technically the last fight I was in was a win for our side. We defeated the super evil. Go team us. Too bad my two best friends didn't survive the fight. People assumed I died with them. They didn't even check to do a positive id. She wasn't around when the dust cleared so obviously she must be dead. It's cool. Like I said, we're all expendable. No one mourns us. They did me a favor anyway. Now my parents can grieve the loss and not have to deal with the near misses. Jules died with her best friends. Julieta is working for a guy who has the money and power to make a difference in the world.

I honestly don't care if he plans to make a positive or negative difference. He pays me to protect him which means I'll mow all of you over if you look at him the wrong way. Life is about choices you see. I chose to fight the losing battle and somehow survived. Now I choose to align myself with the winning team. Now I get to live.

I don't usually talk about myself in places like this but I might as well do a little intro here. My name is Jesse Currin and I'm working on making that name into something bigger than people imagined it could be. I know it's possible and I'm not giving up this time until it happens. I'm a singer and will sing anything you want me to sing. Forget American Idol, that isn't for me and I'm not going to sell myself to some British guy who thinks he knows everything.

I'm probably not who you think I am. Everyone has a past, I just choose not to talk about mine other than it was pretty boring. Everyone has their own little quirks and you might just be lucky enough to find out a few of mine. You have to take the bait first, though.

Mostly, I'm just a guy living in the city of Los Angeles making his way around and trying to survive. If that's not always the clear-cut and easy road then so be it. You have to do what you gotta do to make sure you get what you want and make sure your goals are met.

So, I guess the question is, what do you want to know about me? You just might get lucky.
