Who: Archex and Mimi When: Morning Where: Hotel Block What: A fresh start Rating: PG-13, nudity, some mentions of a past sexual encounter
The Stormtrooper wiped the condensation from the mirror over the sink with the side of his hand and then took a step back. Towel around his waist, hair wet and muscles already burning from Hotel's regimented training, he felt ... aligned in a way he hadn't since he first met Vi Moradi. Even he was a bit surprised at how good he felt in the wake of Phasma's descent into madness and fall from Hux's good graces. It was hardly enough for him to forgive Armitage for the death of Brendol Hux or the mistakes that had gotten so many of his soldiers killed and threatened the very survival of the Order, but regaining a comparable position to the one he rightfully held gave him reason enough to relax his commitment to seeing to Armitage Hux's demise. At least for the time being. Being needed was more fulfilling than revenge, and it came with added benefits (Archex decided, when he caught sight of a thumb-shaped bruise in the divot above his hip) in this place where the rules of their rank had been relaxed.
Now, though, he had to set his attention on something else. Melissa Gold, a curiously angry girl who was rightfully unhappy with the twisted wad of paper this place called a constitution and the sham Council that adhered to it. He wanted to reach her, and while one person did not make an army, given the structure of the squads it would only take a few people to start a change. If the Council agreed to an amendment which allowed for elections. Of course, if they didn't then it might be enough to cause a power shift through other means. As much as he hated the flawed concept of Democracy, he's certainly utilize an adherence those ideals if it meant showing the corrupt for what they were.
He dressed quickly and, hair still damp, hurried down the stairs which separated the upper level from the lower section of the block, hoping to catch Mimi before she left Hotel for another section of the compound. He spotted her hear one of benches, tying her shoe, and flashed a smile.
