This fic is a tribute to Billy Wilder's Irma la Douce. I shamelessly stole the idea and great chunks of the plot. Yet, Severus isn't sweet, Knockturn Alley isn't Paris, and, most importantly, there are no dragons in Wilder's comedies, and so the story turned out to have a mind of its own.
