The year is 1998. Voldemort is dead, and the Wizarding world is anxious to rebuild itself, to move past the recent troubles.
Hogwarts is crowded. On top of the regular students, there are almost an entire year worth of returning seventh years, back to complete their NEWTs and become productive members of the working community.
However, things at Hogwarts are starting to get... weird. The girls of Hogwarts, are starting to find themselves lusting after each other, the boys no longer holding any interest for them. The boys have no sex drive at all. Why is this happening? How? And how can they make it stop?
Desiderata is Book 7 compliant game but disregards the epilogue. It takes place in the trios 8th year where they return to Hogwarts for their NEWTs after the war with Voldemort. Desiderata is a CRACK game, and the focus is on FEMSLASH.

1 January, 1979...
The first day of the new year and everything has gone wrong. Voldemort and his followers gained enough power and attacked the Ministry of Magic the night before New Years Day. The Order and it's supporters fought back and they fought hard. The Ministry was in chaos that night. Spells flying in all directions; anger, tears and sweat went into this battle. In the end, it was too much... too much magic and emotion in one place. The Ministry exploded and it's aftershocks went through England over and over again. Buildings collapsed, people panicked and trampled one another. Thousands upon thousands were killed. Muggles blamed a meteor hitting them, since there are a few small craters left where entire buildings just simply exploded. The magical folk are the only ones that know what really happened that night, but even then... they don't understand it. England has been cut off from everything and everyone, as if there is a bubble keeping them locked in.
Albus Dumbledore is dead and Voldemort survived. Triumphant, Voldemort took his followers and captured Muggleborns to a new encampment, where they plan to slowly rebuild and eventually become the new law. Voldemort is determined... determined to rule all of England; both magical and Muggle to his liking. The Purest will be the highest in the hierarchy... with Muggles and Muggleborns at the bottom, basically slaves to the Pure. Unfortunately, magic as a whole has become shaky since the explosion. Spells don't seem to work as well... sometimes, they don't work at all. The Order is hiding in what is left of St. Mungos, doing their best to keep safe and healthy and prepare for what may come. There are still stragglers; people avoiding both sides or hoping that the Ministry will rise from the ashes and things will be normal once more.
Though it has been a few months and many are dead, but there are still some alive who can fight for either side. The Wizarding World needs a leader, it needs hope. Things are coming together, slowly, and attacks have been made back and forth. Sides need to be taken.
What side will you take in the Cataclysm? Will you fight alongside the Order of the Phoenix, help them rebuild and eventually triumph over Voldemort? Or will you stand with Voldemort, whose desire to make a new life may be more intriguing then making cozy in St. Mungos with the Order? Or will you remain neutral, watching from the sidelines?

Credit | Kingsley Shacklebolt, once renowned Minister for Magic, was found guilty of lying, stealing, and cheating the witches and wizards of Britain. Though he claimed innocence, there was far too much evidence against him. Kingsley agreed to step down from the position in early 2023. His replacement, Lucretia Rowle; widow of the deceased Death Eater Thorfinn, claimed to be ready to right every wrong Kingsley Shacklebolt had ever made and has done little to help the poor image that Kingsley now faces every day. Lucretia Rowle has started making changes, drastic changes... especially to the courses at Hogwarts. One of the courses, now a mandatory requirement to graduate for all Muggleborns, is a Wizarding How To class, basically treating all Muggleborns as incompetent and unable to grasp the wizarding world. Each year, all Muggleborns will have to take this course and will not be able to graduate without it. It has also been theorized that the Head Boy and Head Girl were chosen by their blood, not their achievements in school, as well as the new Fifth Year Prefects. No Muggleborns have been chosen as Prefect this year. Goblin's have been scorned and now those who have more than 1/16th of another creature's blood have to be on a registry or their wands will be taken away... Who's side will you join? What else will change in the Wizarding World? Will people finally see the light and realize Lucretia Rowle is really a blood purist? The Marauders are in their sixth year at Hogwarts thinking every thing's going great. They have no idea that there is a prophecy being made that could change the world. Their only concerned about classes, Quidditch and making it through the week with out getting another detention.
