I feel stupid for not doing this sooner, but I apologize for the disappearance of my boys. I have been in England for a week and will be here until next Monday. I do have internet access and some free time but as I am here for study abroad and teaching experience I'm trying to cut down on my extracurricular internet usage lol.

Today was the match between Slytherin and Hufflepuff!

The match began being mostly back and forth until Slytherin began taking a steady lead. However, it was Patricia Fells of the Hufflepuff team that came out with the snitch, earning the win for Hufflepuff. The final score was 300(H) - 230(S).

Attention all players!

As a way of reviewing which characters are still active, I'm calling for a check-in. Please reply back to this to say which of your characters are still active (a list of each from one account is fine). This must be done by 6/23.

This is different from the activity check-ins. You don't need to submit links to recent journals/posts. I recognize that there's been an overall lull over everything for the last month, so people have not been able to post as much as would be expected.

By having everyone check in, we can start clearing some positions up and know who is no longer around.

Hi guys! I've just been downloading some fonts that I'd like to use for my characters in certain games (I <3 fontsforpeas!), only now, I'm not sure how to use them for actual journal entries... I figured out that my image software is good enough to put the fonts onto images of parchment for when they send owl post, but to do it every time for a journal entry would be a big PITA. Anyone know how to change journal fonts? The official instructions only seem to apply for standard Mac/Windows fonts, unless I'm spectacularly missing something!

In case you haven't read the Plot Collaboration thread, there was some discussion about doing a holiday-related event where there is a branch of enchanted mistletoe has been hung over the entrance to the Great Hall. The first 10 students (professors get a break on this one) who walk under it will be followed around by a sprig of mistletoe that will continue to grow larger and more cumbersome (hitting people, wrapping around them, etc.) until they kiss someone, upon which time it will pass to that person. However, if the other person has already had the mistletoe, it will disappear. But there's no tag backs, so two people can't just kiss a couple of times to make it go away.

If there are any pranksters that would like to claim this, please respond here! Otherwise, there will be a discovery of the origin soon.

Rundown-
Who: First ten (10) students to pass into the Great Hall, then spread from there.
What: Enchanted mistletoe that increasing bothers its host until passed along via kissing.
When: Starting December 1st in game (June 1st real time) until the 18th or holiday begins (not yet determined).
Where: Beginning at the Great Hall, then throughout the castle.

As far as Death Eater/Order things go, there is not yet an official plot line being announced, but now and during the holidays would be a great time to start having some influences and discussions amongst family and other students.

And if you have any questions about overall stuff, please continue to direct questions, comments, and concerns to Brock or Haley for the time being.

Just a quick note that I've changed Frank's PB to Fran Kranz.  :)

I will be away for the weekend, returning May 31. Vacationing where there is likely no wifi, but I'll have my phone at least, so I can get to email so long as there is signal for that.

This way, if anyone wants to do something, we can post the idea here and get the ideas out to other interested parties.

I probably should have posted this last week, since that would explain my being super super sucktastic with tags and activity. Basically, my life = graduating from uni (finally!), moving across the country, starting a new full-time job, and prepping for a month and a half of backpacking/vacationing. I'm terribly sorry if I've left any open replies; I'll try to wrap those up asap.

That said, I'm on a semi-hiatus. I'll still be around on AIM (mehtric) and email (widowcity@gmail.com), albeit less frequently and more erratically since I'll be going through a billion different time zones over the next few weeks. Don't hesitate to poke me if you want to plot with Hestia, Bertie, or Felicity, though. I'm always up for plottage or just general chat, regardless of the circumstances. :)

Hello everyone! Callie here with, yes, another kidlet. I fully understand that I have a problem, but hopefully you'll like him anyway!

This is Cyprien Finnagan. He is muggleborn(which I know EVERYONE loves, right?) and none of his siblings know he's a wizard. Save for his twin, Osiric, who will be coming right behind him if I'm not mistaken. Their parents know, and they were sent to Hogwarts under the ruse that it's like boarding school where the other kids are concerned. Cy is in Hufflepuff, and he's not really anything special if you ask him. Except that he and his twin were born in two separate years thanks to New Year's Eve. (They love bringing that up so you'll see it often) Still, they're both 7th year, and Cy is quite happy despite not being in Gryffindor. He is a typical guy's guy. He loves muggle sports, and can almost always be found outside doing something. He's quite proud of his muggle lineage, and will get testy if people attack him or his family for being unpure. Cy is laid-back and mellow, and he's a genuine nice guy. Loyal like most Hufflepuff, hard-working when he wants to be, and just all around good to have around. His best and favorite subjects include Transfiguration and Care of Magical Creatures, and if it's possible to be outside or with animals then he will be. He is a bit dense when it comes to girls, and one literally needs a flashing sign to let him know that he's being pursued. He believes in chivalry, and probably has a lot of close girl friends that he protects. (And unknowingly flirts with because he is just that oblivious) Cyprien is a good guy if not simple, and he likes to laugh and play innocent pranks. He is simple in what makes him happy, and very level-headed in disagreements.

More can be found in his bio, of course, but if you like what you see so far then throw ideas this way. He would have good number of friends (no discrimination on House unless the Slytherin will taunt him about blood status), maybe some girls who crush on him or are just friends he protects?, exes, enemies(since we know the blood status is a big deal to some), WHATEVER. I'm always available on AIM or here. <3

Guys, I'm semi back as of tonight. I can't really do mod things yet so I hope Brock and Haley understand, I'll probably need a few more days for that but I need to rp so bad right now.

I'm back! I spent most of the week being taken shopping and did a trip into Canada but now things are calm and I can play again!

Attention ladies and gentlemen, introducing my second character: the one and only Xenophilius Lovegood! Head on over to fond_of_strange to check out his full bio but I'll give you the jist of it here.

He is the eccentric, fun-loving guy that we all know and love. Obsessed with Crumple-Horned Snorkacks(just check out his costume from the ball!), loves inventing things even if they don't work, and all around free spirit. Xeno is a 6th year Ravenclaw and Prefect, so don't get on his bad side! Okay just kidding, he really doesn't have too much of a bad side. Though he is a bit out of the ordinary and can seem like his head is always in the stars, don't underestimate him because he observes more than the other students may think.

He gets along with pretty much everyone, though others may not always get along with him. Always open to plot ideas! Hit me up on AIM at LPJayJay, I'm almost always on.

So this isn't the right journal because I'm waiting for mod approval, but I couldn't wait to introduce Duncan Yaxley over at yaxity.

Duncan is a fifth year Slytherin and the heir to the Yaxley throne. He's not sure it's what he wants, but he's easily swayed by the promise of power. He's a complete charmer, and will use his wiles to get people to do things for him/get out of trouble. He doesn't hesitate to use the people around him for whatever they can give him. Most notably is his sister's position of Head Girl which he happily lauds over everyone he can, especially younger students.

He's not really a "joiner" but will do whatever his parents tell him. He's wound a little tight and doesn't often let himself have too much fun, but he's also witty and enjoys making jokes at others expense. Currently his parents are trying to force his romantic interests on Inigo Imago, but I'm up for former love interests/snogs or whatever. He also needs friends, enemies and everything in between!
