[30 May 2012|03:10pm] Back in 1998 the world of Witches and Warlocks was uncovered after a plot to enslave humanity was foiled. It was on that day that Project Nightshade was established. Project Nightshade is a group of dedicated scientists that seek to uncover, and eliminate those species that they deem are “threatening” to humanity. Fast forward to presnt day. New Orleans is a bustling underground of “supernatural activities”. Covens of vampires, packs of shapeshifters, ghosts, faeries and demons have found a way to co-exist peacefully in secret. Even the random “Hunter/Slayer” that finds their way into the area can see there is a difference. But the scientists at Project Nightshade are not finished. No, they are just getting started. They are close to developing a formula that will eliminate all the superaturals of the world. Demons will be forever banished to hell, Ghosts will be sent to the “afterlife”, shifters, vamps and faes will find their powers taken away. They will be human once more. And that of course, is if they cooperate. The nightshade formula is very unstable, and when administered incorrectly, will not only remove any supernatural powers found in a body, it will remove the soul as well. The Immune: A Zombie Apocalypse RPG [30 May 2012|04:58pm] In 2012, the infection begun in London. In 2013, it struck London. By 2014, it spread to the United States. By 2016, the entire world was deemed a lost cause. Cities that formerly housed hustling and bustling business, bright lights and constant activity are shells of their former selves. Electricity for the masses is a near-lost memory and now the only places that hold electricity are "safe havens" like shelters or churches. There are no more new cars or cushy apartments. What little freedoms the infected didn't take away, the government destroyed. People deemed "immune," people who didn't turn when bitten, were forced into servitude. Those who had yet to be bitten had the option to help out as well. Immune, and non-immune helpers, were pushed to the brink of exhaustion by the power hungry government, who sat safely in their safe areas. It's 2019 now, and finally, people started to get tired of the games. A small pocket of resistance, residing in New York City, formulated a plan and have created a true "safe haven" in Sing Sing Correctional Facility. No government, and a true safe haven behind walls that no infected can scale. After six years of oppression, a change has finally begun.
