WHO: Denny and Frankie, for sure! WHAT: A bit of stalking, a bit of conversation.. WHERE: Outside the Hufflepuff Common Room.. WHEN: Uh. Two weeks after term begins? WHY: Because he wants to see her.
Denny wasn't really the sort of guy to chase a girl, at least according to past experience. He had never "dated" a girl officially, had only kissed a select few, and was typically the innocent type when it came to females. Of course, that wasn't to say that he wasn't smooth.
Even now, as he leaned nonchalantly against the wall outside the Hufflepuff Common Room, he wasn't sure if this was the way to go about pursuing a female. Particularly not the female who had punched him in the mouth after he kissed her. He wasn't sure if he needed to apologize for that. But if the past few weeks had been any indication--both that he thought about her more often than he cared to admit, and that she had avoided him every chance she got--he certainly had to be the one to initiate contact.
So, rather than literally chase her down the hallway, he had chosen a more conventional method: staking her out. Ignoring the giggles and glances he received as other Hufflepuff girls entered and exited the Common Room--some more than twice, just to get a look at him--he watched with light brown eyes for the petite, angry, dark-haired girl he was waiting for.
