He liked her little smile as he drawled on, but she obviously wasn't enjoying the spectators who continued to trudge by the Hufflepuff Common Room entrance and grin at the pair of them. He guessed that more people knew about their little kissing episode than even she had assumed. His idea to move their interaction to a more secluded area was a rather good one, it seemed.
The smile seemed to drop a bit as she rolled her eyes at him, but she finally dropped the accent, which pleased him. Obviously she could barely keep up with Southern jargon, and he hadn't even broken out the talk about pigs, hay and the farm. As far as her enjoying the attention that he paid, he was just glad she hadn't hit him yet, or dismissed him in any other way. He was rather charming, after all, and he spent a lot of time trying to get people to like him. He was a likable chap.
"We could always go to my dorm," he offered, slipping back into his.. well, not British accent, but more British accent. At the look on her face at that statement - as well as the looks on other peoples' faces in the background - he grinned and tapped her lightly on the nose with one finger. "I got an idea then." He reached down and took her hand again, leading her gently but unyieldingly downstairs.
