RP: Ron & Peter
Who: Ron & Peter
When: 11 April, after lunch
Where: Outside the Great Hall
What: Awkward conversation
Things were slowly getting back to normal, or at least as normal as they'd been before the castle fucked with their minds, but there was still a lot to deal with. Ron hadn't had to reach out to Jamie, as he'd let Hermione Obliviate him, but Ron knew that something fundamental had been damaged in any relationship he might have had with his nephew. He was going to have to figure out how to at least mitigate that damage, but he wasn't sure exactly how to go about it. It was something he was going to have to actually sit down and think about.
He also needed to track Duke down, take a look at the club and make sure the security was adequate. He trusted the castle to an extent, at least with regards to keeping anyone from unauthorized Apparation into the castle, but there were still precautions that needed to be put into place if the boathouse was going to be used as a club. So, that was on his list among a dozen other little things. Not as many as Hermione and Harry had on their lists, but enough to keep him and his little department busy.
Thinking about Duke brought up the other announcement that had been made. The memorial for Cassandra. It was something he'd given thought to while he'd had Peter's memories, but at the time he'd figured no one else cared and hadn't done anything about it. Now, he wondered if he should have but maybe it was for the best that he hadn't. This way, they could all pay their respects to her as themselves, and not as someone else.
And speaking of Peter...Ron had been avoiding him to an extent since they'd regained their memories. Not necessarily on purpose, but not not-on purpose either. That couldn't go on forever, so when he spotted the other man leaving the Great Hall on his own, he decided to catch up to him.
"Hey, Peter. Mind some company for a bit?"
