So we are reaching out to International Confederation of Wizards. As of now Gringotts recognized me as the Minister because I was the last Minister. Until now, there was no reason to do much because it was just us at Hogwarts, but now it's the time to make the decision.

1) Do you want me to stay minister?

2) Do you want to candidate yourself as minister instead?

Once those two very important questions are answered, then we need to discuss Ministry. Like it or not, we will need to form a bureaucracy to deal with that. The roles will need to be much different than before, but we will need a International Magical Department, possibly Obliviators who will need to learn about Muggles in this time. Once we have a full set up, then instead of random assignments you will have full jobs.

Everyone will need to work. No there are no salaries at the moment, but there will be. They will be minor since Hogwarts provides for room and board.

	And this is why I throw things out there. Maybe we can work on making arrangement with local Muggles for things so the house elves don't go crazy. I'm not sure how we'll work delivery without showing that we have magic or giving away HOgsmeade. But that can be your field now. Find me solutions so we get food delivered. If you want something sustainable without Muggles eventually then you're going to have to farm. Easiest solutions would be... Someone living outside of Hogwarts - homesteading. It's not uncommon for people to live out randomly in Scotland.

There's the more dramatic... razing of Hogsmeade, removing or repurposing buildings to return it to farmland. But these are old, long term solutions because I'm old.

I'll need help for something more immediate or modern or... Muggle-knowledgeable.

With only 22 people, I don't think we're ready for anything of the sort, especially because we don't know if the castle will let us.

I think our first goal should be to find a way to get things delivered somewhere, maybe some cheap land that might be used in the future, but mostly with a warehouse, so Muggles can deliver stuff there and the house elves can go pick them up.

	Someone is going to have to take the risk one of these days to find out what the castle will and will not allow. We cannot just let it run our lives. Then I'll definitely need an assistant in that. Assuming we would start with purchasing a Muggle property so it wouldn't be so suspicious -- I don't really deal with Muggles much? And by much I mean... At all. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

With so few and a school to run, wolfsbane to make, people to protect from foreign governments, I'm not in a rush to kick people out and I think people are staying because this is the only thing familiar at this point. You go on your own, now you need to take care of yourself.

Yeah I don't think any of us really know much. The people from the latest years might be the best. Cho apparently was living in the Muggle world. But really it's a lot of asking and journal messages.
