WE haven't mentioned anything about his future yet and I'm hoping to wait. He doesn't need to learn that he turned into a crazy madman. I'm hoping that he can be around us enough that he won't flip.

I wasn't thinking broken as a werewolf. I think he's close to break as a person. He expected me to kick him out. He hasn't had a lot of kindness. We got lucky with Savannah because she barely remember him and I heard words like 'poor man', 'sweet guy', 'can I hug him?'.

Broken as a werewolf. Broken as a person. The two go hand-in-hand, Harry. If he's newly turned, he's not only experiencing a lot of rejection from people around him, but the body he's known for his entire life is changing in ways it wasn't built for, the sensory overload alone is enough to drive some people mad. Being able to explain what's happening to him could go a long way to helping him feel more in control of his life.

I don't know what's changed since our time. Savannah mentioned reforms. But, he and I come from the same time. Society believed we were better off dead. My earliest memory is of the healers telling my parents there was a chance I wouldn't make it and it would be kinder for them to just let me die. There was no support system for our kind we didn't build ourselves. You got bitten, you got medical care, a lecture on locking yourself up at the Full, and instructions to register with the Ministry. The Registry was a joke, used more to point fingers when someone died or a scapegoat was needed than to help the people on it. We had to learn about the changes that happened between Full Moons by just...going through it.

We are both wolf and man, to keep him from breaking, you have to treat both.

I respect your take on the subject. You certainly know more than me.

Things were still bad when we found out about you, but with time as the Wolfsbane became more common, I think people stopped worrying. With the Ministry supplying everyone, there's no need to hide. Savannah talks about it like some old curse that's rare and disappearing. I can hear it in her voice that she things we're all idiots for having a problem with this.

This new generation? They are very different. They make me feel old at 22.

	Take the next generation's innocence as a sign we did our job. We gave them a world where they didn't have to worry about the things we have had to. And when you feel old, just yell at them to get off the lawn. Or feel free to come talk to someone older with a completely different perspective on life. Door's open any time.
