	That's all I need too. It was though, in a way. The things you lived through, you'd never have been happy as a Baker. Can you even imagine? They didn't do it. They're barely old enough to shave. 	I can't. There's not enough alcohol in the world to make me do something like that. No, it looks like we did have the kids. It was everyone in between who should have gotten married and have kids. I have wondered about that. How bad could the population problem be when it seems like we all, well, populated. Even me! Our children weren't that old when it all fell apart. They still had time to have families. So why the urgency? There must be something we don't know.

You're right, it doesn't, because there are no more bakeries or cat walks or whatever else. They'll have to adjust.

Exactly.

I guess we did our duty and others didn't? Imagine if everyone in our year decided to wait in their thirties and forties, then you have a large gap. Also how many people died? Fifty-two people died on our side, just on the day of the battle. What about the Muggleborns? How many left? I can see why it'd become an issue.

What does it say about me that I'm actually feeling better here? I was getting bored at work.

I hadn't thought of it that way. But it still seems so extreme. One generation of low or late births... A lot of people died in the first was as well, our class as Hogwarts was small compared to past classes. But what do I know.

You need a crisis. This isn't news. If we're being honest, I'm happy here too. For more than one reason. I hadn't felt useful in a very long time.

We are absolutely not turning into the Marauders. What a terrible thought. I like to touch the people I care about in the privacy of my bedroom but I don't go about humping people's legs and hugging all willy nilly like Sirius Black.

Though I'm not opposed to hand holding.

It's strange. I still barely know him, but the moment I knew who he was I just felt so protective of him. But I don't need space from you. I'm already not what or who he really needs, even if I am a younger version of his actual father. He and I need to figure out what we are now. But, it's nice. Knowing that Scorpius and other me were close. I never thought I could be a good father.

	It's good to see that some things don't change. All right, you have a point. Sirius is too much. Occasionally and for short time, because you do need your hand to do magic. Like I said, the problem is that I don't hate him. I want to, but I don't. I pity him more than anything. And it feels wrong, seeing him the way he is now. Knowing what it turns into in less than a year. And I resent him, because he's the reason that everything happened. To me, at least. But I don't hate him.

But you're right. I'll talk to him. Though the person who has the best chance to change him is mother. I wish she was here.
