A request [lottie]
Persephone had three months to come to the decision. She'd just birthed another child. The girl was dark-haired, a testament that it belonged below. She thought of taking it above with her, but what would that bring about? She'd introduce the girl to her mother eventually, when she was more rooted to the Underworld. For now, she'd keep her far deep within, protected by her subjects. She'd have freedom to do as she wished, unlike her parents. Living vicariously through your children was one way to get through life.
There were so many things she was going to miss in her new child's life. That wasn't anything new. She'd missed the firsts of her other children as well. It was a side effect of her mother's agreement. That didn't mean she couldn't try to supplement them a little, did it? There was so much she wanted to do, but wouldn't be able to. That was why she'd summoned Lottie to her garden for a chat.
She was kneeling next to a patch of Lily-of-the-Valley while she waited. It was something to keep her busy. Hopefully the message would reach Philotes soon and the goddess wouldn't take too long to get there. She always missed this garden when she left. She had to talk to her mother about undoing the curse on Askalaphos so he could properly tend it along with Hades' orchard, or arrange it somehow.
Lifting a stem, she delicately checked under the little white bell-shaped petals. She hoped Lottie wouldn't think it was too much of an undertaking.
