So since we're all going to be here for a bit, I think it'd be a good idea to get to know one another some. And what you can do might also be helpful.

I'm Buffy Summers. I'm 22 from Sunnydale, California. The year was 2003 for me. Here it appears to be 2013. I'm a Vampire Slayer. I fight monsters. This is not the same as a hunter, exactly. I was born to do this, so was Faith.

Let me be clear, I fight evil. I know that there are some vampires and demons, and others that are not evil. So if you're something different, you don't have anything to fear from us. Unless you hurt people. That's where we draw the line.

This place is very dangerous, especially after dark. And the more people who can protect everyone, the better. If you have any powers or special skills...now would be the time to say so. We can work together and keep everyone as safe as possible, while we work on a way to go home.
