Two or three times a week I like to wander Miller's Wood. The solitude is different out there than it is among my books and art supplies. It's also a better distraction-free alternative (a piece of charcoal and paper is always too much of a temptation!) for when you need some time to process and think.
As I was doing just that, with no aim or direction whatsoever, I came across ( this lovely. )
It's remarkable how utterly stealthy they are. I'm not sure who was more startled! Not wanting to intrude further, I took my opportunity and went on my way. The encounter has certainly lent itself to some inspiration. Don't be surprised if you find something new at the gallery...

Lately, I'm doubting my decision. Perhaps watching her roll back into my life was taken as a sign. A second chance to make it right—And I have so much to make up for—to fight for ourselves. But these months apart, I wonder. I wonder if maybe we should have ever been together since the Universe seems Hellbent on keeping us separated. Sometimes, I wonder if I should just let her go.
