• KURT'S BEEN IN A REALLY GOOD PLACE LATELY, GUYS.


• His confidence has always been way better when he's hanging out with ~animals,~ so getting to carry his Nifty New Niffler (N)Familiar around for a whole week and bring him to classes was PHENOMENAL! This was SUPER NOTICEABLE! He was more willing to speak up in class discussions and ask questions. He was happy to entertain people's questions about Newt without hesitation or deer-in-headlights looks! He doesn't seem to take notice of his speech impediment because he has cooler things to think about, like nifflers!


• Even though Newt's not coming to classes anymore Kurt's still In The Zone. Slightly less so, but there's absolutely a noticeable difference between timid Kurt and, DARE I SAY IT, NEW KURT?!?!?!


• ... That's basically it right now. He's also amping himself up for the spring Drama show, but he's always amping himself up for a Drama show.


• And he'll probably try to join LARP sometime before June.

• GARDENS y'all he is finalizing his plans for his plantbed & it's very soothing and nice. his desk is covered in diagrams and lists and stuff and he is even scruffier looking than usual thanks to this outdoor venture

• STRESSED AF. All the Anon/2 stuff has her feeling anxious and she HATES keeping secrets (esp from Ivy/Laurel) and the Big Sophomore Secret has her feeling like a guilty little shit


• Lonely. Issy loves Laurel & Ivy, but she constantly feels like she's bothering them, since they're the only friends she really hangs out with. She wishes she knew how to integrate into the school a bit better. :(


• EXCITED! For the Hunger Games. It seems fun, and she wants to just kind of forget about everything and play a silly game for shits and giggles. She even donated a really nice set of pens ok.

• Depressed. Most people have probably noticed this by now. All her Coppertale Confident Swagger is gone. She's feeling like a second-rate loser and like a friendless pariah.

• HEY SOPHOMORES AND COPPERTALES, I'd love to solidify relationships with you, because i did not respond to my intro post replies and i'm a bad egg But now that I know what his personality's like (large ham) and where he stands on the forest entity (2's chill) I'll probably have a better idea of how he'd interact with yours.

• She doesn't actually have much extra going on rn, which is probably for the best considering the last Wanted Lines meme.


• Phase 2 of her senior project is complete! (Happy!) She'll be spending less time in the Artificing shed (sad.), more in the library. She'll approach Bloom in the coming months for help with The Final Phase: "How The Fuck Can Someone Produce These At Low Cost?"


• The daily owl influx is going to make her anxious pretty much every day until she's received every acceptance/rejection letter back from prospective Healer programs at the end of the month.


• Today she's trying to be low key about maybe getting to play the whole game on Sunday?! because of Chris' injuries last night. She doesn't want to capitalize on your misfortune, Chris, but she totally wants to capitalize on your misfortune. Even though she caused it.


• She's trying to Own her discomfort about attending Ricardo's wedding, but she'll be progressively more evasive about her feelings on the matter until the wedding actually happens. At least her Coppertale side is winning over and will probably succeed; this is the side that says "FUCK YOU I'M GOING TO ATTEND YOUR WEDDING AND HAVE AN AMAZING AND DAZZLING TIME YOU CAN'T KEEP ME FROM MY HAPPINESS HAHAHAAAA ALSO HAVE YOU MET YOUR BROTHER'S NEW BOYFRIEND HE'SFLAWLESS AND IF YOU THINK OTHERWISE I WILL WANT TO FIGHT YOU"


• Quinn was headed to (legit) burnout but it's not gonna happen anymore. I'm being selfish: it turns out I've actually been dealing with it since December (lol who knew = not me) and now I don't wish it on my imaginary child, nor do I want to RP it out any time soon. I guess it was inadvertent method RP??? IRL shit's looking up 4realz now & this isn't a cry for help/pity (pls don't), but it is an explanation of why Quinn's probably going to be Looking Up soon despite having a somewhat rough couple of months. Baby steps. Like maybe she'll learn over the break that sleeping in isn't an original sin? We'll see. She'll be overworked as always but she won't reach burnout levels and I don't feel guilty about this change at all.


• Accessibility Ramp: I never had her pull it together and I'm very sorry. :( I still want senior Azurcrest hijinks to occur because I feel like (a) the senior Azurbabes dorm should interact more, and (b) both senior dorms should interact more.

• Things exploded this week? He's going to try and get revenge on Chris but I haven't decided how; Jacob told him that starting a fight won't help anything buuut he doesn't fully believe that.


• Yes, Chris and Ivy were both in on the prank. If he seems to be placing all the blame on Chris? He is. He hates Chris because he's dating Rosy, on whom he's been crushing since A-Day but he doesn't get crushes so it presents like a subtle, weird obsession with the poor girl. He thinks Chris is unworthy of her attention—thus stupid deserving of Casey's ire. As well, he's known Ivy since they were kids and likes her a lot, and he hasn't quite processed how someone he considers a friend (even one he wasn't always nice to) could "do this to him." Yes, this is overreacting and ironic considering his bullying history.


• Casey thinks people think he's a dumb jerk and he doesn't like it but he also doesn't know how to understand or deal with it. After Duelling he thinks that half the time people talk about how stupid he obviously is since he took the prank personally, and the other half he thinks they're talking about how ridic the detention was because he's been historically nasty. Neither fact is untrue, however, he's starting to feel worse about his historic nasticism and having constant reminders of it is making him feel angry all over again, so he's more prone to act out.


• TL;DR: He's slowly coming to terms with how little he likes his reputation as a bully and/or idiot but he doesn't know how to deal. He's stalking around more frustrated and/or angry than usual. :(


• He's trying to spend more time doing things that usually keep him from being an asshole: bothering Cricket and Jacob, trying to excel on the Cheer Squads because they're times when he can prove he's capable of doing well at something, and work things out himself in the dance studio except he's hitting obstacles there.


• I've mentioned it before but I'll say it again: I literally write Casey as though he's a poorly-trained and -socialized adolescent dog. Literally. It's v helpful.

• A tad bitter. She's still pretty upset about that Quidditch game loss, and about being second string on Goose's team.


• Excited. She's going to get some good news from her adoptive parents - it's been long enough on the hormone treatments, therapies, etc, that during spring break she can have her surgery to fully complete her MTF transformation


• Content. She's just pretty satisfied with life right now, fam.
