That's hard for me to wrap my head around. Blood status is so important back home. Even though my parents always say it doesn't matter that we're not quite pure, it very obviously does matter to a few of my relatives. They were mortified my mum ended up having all these boys, because now they'll never get rid of the name "Evercreech".
