GREETS. It's Jenny (Xavier) here with my number two (lol) and Calvin's onii-chan, DAMON EVERCREECH. Damon will be arriving at Gooseberry on Sunday and getting sorted that night, then starting class on Monday. I am very excited that his arrival will apparently be leading to the first annual Gooseberry Hunger Games? And also cannibalism?????

Dimi's concept is "Typical Gryffindor with something to prove walks line between hero and villain." His classes are Charms, Herbology, History of Magic, Outdoor Education, Potions, Aesthetic Magic, Magizoology, Wizard Lit. He's going to be trying out all the clubs for a while, but will probably wind up sticking with Outdoor Exploration, Archery, Duelling & Fencing and Drama.

Dimi is charming, confident, artistic, outgoing and a complete shitter. He is a bully-of-bullies. A kid with a superhero complex teetering on the edge of super villain. He will be white knighting all over campus when he isn't out taking photos. For the previous six years at Hogwarts, Dimi was extremely popular within his house, well liked and well known for sticking up for kids who were getting picked on. If you were a bully or a victim at Hogwarts in the last 6 years, you probably had a run in with Dimi Evercreech.

So, why did Dimi leave Hogwarts so near the end of his secondary school career? GOOD QUESTION! It's because this child is a mess. He'd actually applied to the Gooseberry transfer program almost every year since he was first eligible. He was passed over each time because he was a troublemaker with average grades who didn't bring much to the table outside of an excess of personality. At the end of Dimi's sixth year, his core friend group imploded on itself very publicly and dramatically. On the one hand, this meant when he came back for his seventh year he mostly hid in the library and studied, so his grades got better. On the other, he spiraled into a depression and didn't really have a social outlet. So the Head of Gryffindor recommended him when a spot opened at Gooseberry and he accepted because he needed to GTFO.

Dimi is here to make friends, have fun and ~~burn the Coppertale senior boys cabin to ash and cinders~~ hopefully get steered away from becoming Darth Vader.

quinn is around a lot because hey, dating his roomie and close pals with the other two. she is terrified of virgil tho. it seems like she'll like dimi a fair amount from the beginning, but there will quickly be chances to be like "hey wait tho"? she doesn't like bullying anyone and will be like D:< even if she secretly gets it because she sticks her nose in to police others' business maybe a bit too much.

but then i also read his history and i have nooo idea if this will come up BUT it seemed worth mentioning. if he ever has a chip on his shoulder about people who date their exes' best friends, um, he may not like her much.

casey year below, same house, also in D&F and drama! he's a former bully who still tries sometimes but it doesn't work out, and since he's actually kind of cricket's woke padawan he's into this "bully the bully" thing.

kurt will be in OE and drama with him (notable in both because it's when he ~~LIGHTS UP AND BECOMES A SOCIAL PERSON~~). but also, he recommends against fight clubs. he tried it once and it was awful. good news: isn't really bullied much, yey!

I had not actually thought about that re: chip on his shoulder. I WILL THINK ABOUT IT NOW, THOUGH. His feelings about his former school friends are really complicated and he's still knee deep in depression even though he's trying desperately to act like he isn't. My gut feeling is that he'd internalize what happened rather than project it outward onto other couples, though.

I think in general Dimi will really like Quinn since she has that DO ALL THE THINGS CAN'T STOP WON'T STOP thing going on. Thumbs up. He will probably be very bummed about missing hockey because organized violence is right up his alley. He tries to be super slick about his Gryffindor-style "rule bending" and vigilante justice but yeah I'm sure he will get angry faces from Quinn from time to time.

CASEY DO YOU WANT TO BE SHITTY ROBIN TO DIMI'S SHITTY BATMAN?? Damon will really respect that Casey is trying to get away from being a bully. And also Casey is hilarious so I'm sure Dimi will think he is great and schmooze with him.

And aww Kurt come on the secret is you have to pull their shirt over their head first so they can't see.

sadly, dimi, organized violence is the only way to go. :( sad but true. :((( tbh she bends quite a few rules herself but she's Always Right in those cases (or so she thinks).

UHHHHHH YESS??????!!!!!! he can fall into bully habits p easily, unfortunately. but like, he'll try. and if he needs to be a dick to get there he's like "sick."
