What do they look for in a person?:
- Challenges; obviously there needs to be some kind of competition
- Assholes
- Violence
- Humor
- Someone who can get the fuck back up again
- Apparently someone who blushes because shit. That's hot
- Intelligence. He can't date a dumbass.
- But he also can't date somebody who can't see the lure of dumbass ideas.
- Independence. He doesn't want to own anybody, he doesn't wanna be a part of one of those weird couples that become obsessively involved with each other to the point that they barely exist outside of that relationship. He's not looking to change anybody into what he wants them to be, and he's really not looking to hook up with somebody nice who wants to change everything about him either
What do they find romantic?: lmfao romance. ~~I should just leave it there.~~ Chris doesn't have an idea what the fuck romance is. He doesn't actually believe in romance. He believes when you give yourself to someone, you're giving them a loaded gun and asking them to hurt you and trusting that they won't, and he thinks that's just fucking stupid.

But I guess he finds romance in familiarity? He spends a lot of time posturing, but to actually let down his guard is the closest he comes to romance. who the fuck would agree to date him?
Who do they have a crush on?: Levi. It's not an actual crush tho? He was hung up on levi for a while there, then he got over it and now he's totally cool. Except sometimes Levi does something that makes Chris stop and remember the shit they can't do anymore and it makes him jealous all over again. So that's still a problem but it's not a real crush.
Are they seeing someone right now?:

idk if you guys heard, but he's got a girlfriend. Named Rosy. idk if he's told you today or...

It's actually going pretty good? I feel like Chris has a tendency to grow complacent, and just assume shit. Like he assumes that since Cecil is okay with Levi's behavior that Rosy is gonna be too, and then she reminds him that she's a lot more vocal than Cecil so how can you even confuse the two, really? And Chris is like oh yeah.

But he also kinda really likes that. He's finding himself accidentally comparing him and Rosy to Levi and Cecil. So he finds himself asking her before hand if she's okay with him breaking rules, because Cecil isn't okay with that, and Rosy's a prefect too. And everything he compares, he finds that he likes how it is with him and Rosy more. Which are concerns he wasn't expecting to have.

idk if you haven't heard but Chris's relationship with his rock is currently the longest relationship he's ever been in. He has literally no experience with actually becoming romantically invested with someone else. He's not even used to having a crush on someone else. Anybody he's ever been interest in, he's been able to go out there and hook up with them and move on, or keep hooking up with them. He's never had legitimate romantic emotions toward someone before. And everything he's learned about romance he's learned through his mother's failed marriages. He's learned that romance is hard and it's painful, and they always end up leaving. So he's kept himself distant because he isn't gonna be that person waiting for somebody to love them and then leave them.

But after Levi, Chris acknowledged that his fuck up was that he never told Levi how he felt because of that distance. So when he developed a crush on Rosy and started liking pestering her just for an excuse to spend time with her, he decided he wasn't gonna make the same fuck up twice. He was gonna allow himself to be bullied anonymously into asking her to the halloween dance (apparently by her, which he finds hilarious). A lot of what he does with Rosy is because he doesn't want to have any regrets. If she tells him something bothers her, he wants to fix it instead of fucking this up and regretting it.

Which means they can now talk out their problems with actual words. And he likes that, because he's literally like that with nobody else ~~except for Quinn but that's literally four years in the making.~~

What are they like in a relationship?: Chris is still a dumbass. I think he's slower in a relationship. He's experienced and he hooks up a lot and there's not a lot that shames him, but in a relationship with Rosy, he's going at an extremely slow pace. It makes Chris slower, more considerate than he normally is. He's careful not to make her feel pressured. He already knew Rosy before they started dating, so he knows she has some baggage, he knows she has some trust issues, he knows that she's not sexually experienced, and he doesn't want her to feel like he gets impatient with any of that. He doesn't want her to think he'll get bored of her. He doesn't want her to feel like she has to alter any part of her for anybody - that's disgustingly sweet considering the assholes I'm talking about.

But it's not like he's a different person, so while he wants there to be trust, and while he's actually starting to lower his own walls around her - he still feels like he's handing her a gun and trusting her not to shoot him, and this is Rosy, and he's seen her angry. So he's waiting for something to blow up, and he's waiting for it to bite him in the ass. But he's also himself, so he's also waiting for himself to fuck it up.

If you look close enough, Chris looks fucking smitten. He lights up when he sees Rosy, he hangs around her at parties and dances. If you listen though, literally all you'll hear is them shit talking each other.

Anything else?: OKAY MY HEADCANON for chris's first kiss is that he was like ten. And he rushed it and got so excited that he went in for the kiss so hard he accidentally broke the girl's nose.
