WANTED LINES MEME: January

Wanted lines is back! It's a bit late this month on account of holiday madness, but here you are! Take this as an opportunity to discuss character development, and talk about lines you might want to build with one another.

If you want to participate, fill out the following with each of your characters, then comment around and talk about their relationships and how your characters could interact now or in the future!

Character Name: Ennis Harper
House and Year: Ribbonfin Junior
Classes: Charms, Potions, Transfiguration, Aesthetic Magic, DADA, Magical Rudiments, Magizoology, Divination
Extracurriculars: Equestrian Club, Event Committee, Gaming Club (He's part of CASEY's D&D campaign!)

Current State: Ennis is really happy to be back after break (he missed it here!! :^(( ) but what he doesn't realize is that... PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES ARE COMING UP, OH NO!!! It's going to be a Bad Time for Ennis (aka... it's not that bad of a time, but Ennis is gonna overthink it and blow it out of proportion.) His grandparents are super wary of Divination after his mom got swept up in his dad's fanaticism anddddd... Very reasonably are afraid of Ennis following the same path. Especially since he seems to place his father on a high pedestal where he can do no wrong.

His mom knew Ennis was taking Div and encouraged him without telling his grandparents about it, and now his grandpa is gonna find out and he's gonna be worried. :C But they're gonna agree not to tell grandma, because hiding things from each other totally worked out well for them all those other times.

Looking For: I want Ennis to start a little following of Believers that twist logic to find ways to make the "forest spirits" seem Good and Benevolent. Ennis is pretty much blind in his loyalty, and that extends toward whatever lives in the woods because Ennis perceives them to be ~guardian spirits~ that watch over them in the Grotto. His "lore" for the ~forest spirits~ changes constantly based on new information and new events so... It's the most inconsistent pseudo-religion ever.

More friends? Enemies? idek. I'M LOVIN' THESE LINES THAT HAVE DEVELOPED ORGANICALLY, THOUGH.

Anything Else: PTC is the abbreviated name of the town I live in and I always have to do a triple-take before realizing y'all are talking about Parent-Teacher Conferences.

ALSO, IT TOOK ME A MONTH TO REALIZE I FORGOT TO ADD DIVINATION TO ENNIS'S CLASS SHEET. THE ONLY REASON I REALIZED HE WASN'T IN THE CLASS IS BECAUSE I WAS COPY-PASTING HIS CLASS LIST FOR THIS MEME. (i told moms i was too embarrassed to put it in the dropbox in case anyone saw my shame, but now i gotta scream it so the whole world knows.)

I literally just forgot about it. BUT LOOK AT YOU MOVING UP ENNIS. Chris is initiating conversations and shit

But also Teo will totally join Ennis's cult because this religion makes perfect sense. Chris will not Bc he believes whatever is in the woods is being nice to lure them all into a false sense of security. Also Bc cults are for losers
